November Chamber of Commerce Events
The Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce announces upcoming events during the month of November.
On Saturday, November 5, at 7:30 a.m., The Chamber’s Military Affairs Committee will host the 19th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast at APSU’s Morgan University Center. The cost is $12 and will include a buffet style breakfast and a salute to our Veterans. Major General James C. McConville will serve as the keynote speaker for this year’s breakfast. On Thursday, November 10, at 11:30 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, 290 Alfred Thun Road, the Chamber will be presenting a Women In Business event. Join us as Emily Ellis shares her message on how to be a great leader within your team and organization. Emily is principal consultant at Education and Training Concepts, a company focused on cultural integration, leader development and customer service. Emily's positive attitude will set the stage for this informative session that will give you the tools needed to create a great environment. This event is $20 for Chamber members and $25 for non-members.
The Chamber’s Business After Hours will be held on Thursday, November 17 from 5-7 p.m. The event will be hosted by Fort Campbell Federal Credit Union, 145 Dover Crossing Road. Join us for food, networking and fun. Also, please join in helping the Clarksville Salvation Army by bringing a canned or dried food item to the event. Business After Hours is offered at no cost.
On Thursday, November 17 for the Clarksville Young Professionals, is a free QuickBooks Seminar for both beginners and advanced users. Learn tricks and tips that can make navigating this commonly used software easy. This event will be held at Daymar Institute, 1860 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. at 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. If interested, please RSVP to Mark Hays, 931.245.4339, and indicate if you would like to attend the beginner or advanced user session. Non-members may attend for $50.
