National Radon Action Month
January is National Radon Action Month. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the U.S. Radon is a naturally occuring, invisible, odorless, tasteless gas that is dispersed in outdoor air, but can reach harmful levels when trapped in buildings. Radon test kits can be adminstered inexpensively at local hardware stores and problems can be fixed to prevent reoccurance. Have you tested your home for radon?
