Montgomery County Receives GNRC Parks and Recreation Award

Montgomery County recently received an Award of Excellence for Parks and Recreation from the Greater Nashville Regional Council. The award was presented to Mayor Carolyn Bowers at the annual GNRC meeting in Lebanon.

This Parks and Recreation Award was for the renovation and construction of Civitan Park, located at 650 Bellamy Lane. Pictured: County Mayor Carolyn Bowers accepts the GNRC Award of Excellence in Parks and Recreation from GNRC President Philip Craighead. Civitan Park is home to St. Bethlehem Little League and now includes eight fields which can also be used for tournament play.
