Job Fair Set For July 2

Judge Ray Grimes and County Commissioner Garland Johnson will host a job fair on Thursday, July 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the Courts Center.

Grimes states, "We see people in court every week that have aspirations to obtain employment, but for whatever reason don't have the resources to obtain it, so we decided to create that opportunity for them."

Johnson adds, "Some of the people we see have limited skills, family obligations, little education or no experience. We want to help them reach their goals of obtaining employment and this is one way we can help."

The Courts Center is located at 2 Millennium Plaza. The public is invited to attend.
