Clarksville Montgomery County Industrial Development Board
Separate sealed bids for Hankook Tire – Mass Grading and Utility Package, located within the Montgomery County Corporate Business Park, Clarksville, TN will be received at The Industrial Development Board of the County of Montgomery office, located at 25 Jefferson Street, Suite 300, Clarksville, TN 37040 until 10:30 A.M. Local Time, on Monday, March 17th,2014.
The scope of work will consist of mass grading, temporary erosion control measures, selective demolition and clearing, installing temporary gravel roadways, installation of water, sanitary sewer and gas utilities, installation of storm and drainage structures, and stabilization of exposed areas within an approximate 500 acre area containing the Hankook Tire Project Site.
The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans (in pdf format), Specifications (in pdf format), and other contract documents (are included with this packet.) will be available for pickup upon making a non-refundable payment of $50.00 for each disk on Monday, March 3rd, 2014 at the following address:

All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee in strict accordance with State regulations. No bid will be opened unless the outside of the sealed envelope containing the bid provides the following information: the Contractor's name, address, and license number; the date of the license expiration; and a quotation of that part of the license classification applicable to the bid.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order, or bid bond, in the amount of at least five (5)percent of the bid amount, drawn payable to The Industrial Development Board of the County of Montgomery as security for the proper execution of the Agreement. A Contract Performance/Payment Bond of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price will also be required.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid for sixty (60) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
The right to reject any or all bids and to wave technicalities is reserved by the owner.
Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held at The Industrial Development Board of the County of Montgomery Community Room, Terrace Level, 25 Jefferson Street, Clarksville, TN 37040 in the at 10:30 Local Time, on Friday, March 7th, 2014. ***SPECIAL NOTE*** IF ANY VENDOR IS MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE TO THE PRE-BID, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE PRE-BID NOR BID ON THIS PROJECT AS THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR. PRE-BIDMEETING WILL BE CLOSED AS OF 10:45 A.M.
