Alert: THE LIBRARY WILL REMAIN IN PHASE 3 REOPENING DURING MARCH. MEETING ROOMS ARE NOW OPEN AS WELL AS THE COMPUTER LAB. During March the library will continue with the suspension of all in-person programming and acceptance of donations - stay tuned for updates. Masks are required for patrons to enter the library in accordance with the county mayor’s executive order. We continue to push out resources for engagement at home through our FB page https://www.facebook.com/CMCPublicLibrary. Please stay safe and we will see you soon!
The Library welcomes volunteers from the community and appreciates the vital role that volunteers provide for our Library. Whether you are volunteering to build your resume, gain work experience, or simply to serve the community, your time spent at the public library is greatly valued and is beneficial to our mission of serving the public. Please note - we do not accept volunteers who are completing court-ordered community service at this time.
All volunteers must go through the Volunteer United Headquarters and sign up for a volunteer shift. We will be developing new volunteer opportunities in the near future - the website will show what is available (with more details) at this time at the library.
To sign up to volunteer and view our available volunteer shifts, please visit:
**All volunteer opportunities on Volunteer United Headquarters are for ages 18 and up. The Children’s Department accepts teen volunteers during the summer to help with the Summer Reading Program and also works with honor students needing volunteer hours.
