Alert: Thank you for contacting the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library. We are currently closed to the public, however, you, our customer are extremely important to us - we want to continue to serve you while we are closed through our online services. We extended all due dates for items checked out in good standing to April 17th. Please visit our website to see the many ways you can stay connected to books and other activities. We are pushing out resources for engagement at home through our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/CMCPublicLibrary. Our tentative date to reopen is Monday, April 6th, however this is subject to change. From all of us here in your library family, we look forward to seeing you happy and healthy again when we reopen.

The Library welcomes volunteers from the community and appreciates the vital role that volunteers provide for our Library. Whether you are volunteering to build your resume, gain work experience, or simply to serve the community, your time spent at the public library is greatly valued and is beneficial to our mission of serving the public. Please note - we do not accept volunteers who are completing court-ordered community service at this time.

All volunteers must go through the Volunteer United Headquarters and sign up for a volunteer shift. We will be developing new volunteer opportunities in the near future - the website will show what is available (with more details) at this time at the library.

To sign up to volunteer and view our available volunteer shifts, please visit:

**All volunteer opportunities on Volunteer United Headquarters are for ages 18 and up. The Children’s Department accepts teen volunteers during the summer to help with the Summer Reading Program and also works with honor students needing volunteer hours. Please inquire directly with the Children’s Department (931-648-8826 x21426) for more information on teen volunteering opportunities.
