Alert: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the library is currently closed to the public until further notice. For the safety of library staff and in accordance with the Mayor’s Executive order, as of Tuesday, March 31st, we will no longer be accepting items for return through the library’s book return at the back of the building. No current checkouts will come due and no fines will accrue for items in good standing during this closure. We will not be taking ILL, material requests or book donations during this time. If we are able to purchase the item requested you will be placed on hold for the item and will receive automatic notification, via phone or email, when your item is ready for you to pick up. Please note, the wait time can vary depending on the publication date of the item. Generally, you will be notified within 2-3 weeks that your hold is available if the item has a current publication date. Wait times will vary accordingly for items with future publication dates. Please do not request items with a publication date that is more than 3 months in the future from today’s date. In some cases, we will fill your request with an item borrowed from another library through our Interlibrary Loan program. You will be notified that the item is an Interlibrary Loan when you checkout.
